Drew & Nikki Wilkinson established Shelford Delicatessen in 1999 with the main aim of creating a practical, high quality food grocer with the emphasis on home cooked produce and excellent service. Drew is a qualified chef and started our home cooked fresh dish menu the first Christmas after we opened and it proved a BIG hit! We realised that there was a niche for excellent quality pre-made dishes suitable for dinner parties or for busy people with good taste! Check our dinner page for what's on. We can of course reserve, and freeze down, any item if you let us know before the day it is available. Don't forget we also have plenty of supplies in our shop display freezer too. We also do a roaring lunch trade of bespoke soups, salads & sandwiches all made fresh at the deli every morning. We use Newnham Bakery bread and local suppliers wherever possible. Come in and take a look at our shelves too which are packed with local & worldwide delicacies!
